Peute Recycling is a Dutch company that is part of the internationally operating Peute Group. It has invested in the Terex Ecotec TDS V20 medium-speed shredder to increase its ability to produce high-quality and standard recycled paper at its Albrotherdam plant in the Netherlands. .

Peute Group is a family business that started in the 1960s and later developed into a leading independent paper and plastic processor. Although the company's main office is located in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, it will soon be transferred to a large 90,000 square meter site in Alblasserdam, where the company will process more than 1.2 million tons of materials on a 50,000 square meter production site.

Peute Recycling established a partnership with Terex Ecotec distributor Troost Machinehandel BV, purchased various machinery from the company, and was satisfied with their partnership. Rudolf Peute, Operations Manager of Peute Recycling, explained: "At Troost, you are treated as a customer. How service partners treat you as a customer is important, especially when there is a problem with the machine. Everyone can deliver a machine, But after that, it’s important to know who your contact is and make sure they are there to help you when you need it-that’s the difference.” He added: “Many brands produce quality products, but decide It is the service partners who put the product on the market. In addition, their suggestions are important to make the right choice."

Rudolf has nearly 30 years of experience in Peute Recycling. He and Troost Machinehandel BV talked about the requirements for the new shredder. Due to the huge amount of material to be processed, the power, capacity and output quality of the shredder are more than the current ones. High and high specifications required by customers. "We need a diesel-powered paper shredder because at our current location, we do not have enough power to handle such a sturdy machine. We also want the paper to be uniform and compressed to a similar size. This is one of our biggest customers. Requirements," Rudolph said.

After investigating the equipment options of Terex Ecotec with Troost Machinehandel BV, Peute Recycling chose TDS V20 and they found that it was particularly suitable for their operation. Its ability to produce controlled product sizes in a single pass will prove to be a huge benefit to Peute Recycling, saving time and fuel.

The machine was commissioned by the service partner Troost Machinehandel BV. It is equipped with a 493-horsepower Stage 5 diesel engine, a reversible hydraulic fan, an internal fire extinguishing system, rubber pads on the rails (because the machine moves indoors), a long conveyor belt, and a discharge height of 5 meters. . TDS V20 gave the expected results during the test. Rudolf said that the Peute Recycling team was very impressed with the performance of the machine.

TDS V20 mainly shreds industrial types of paper, such as coffee bags, pastry cups, wrapping paper rolls, packaging materials, magazines, and newspapers. These papers usually need to be cut for a certain application field. One of the company's main applications is semi-finished products for the fiberboard/gypsum industry, where paper compositions are used to make gypsum fiber-reinforced boards.

Peute Recycling found that TDS V20 is a sturdy machine and an important feature for paper reduction. "The machine uses some type of cutting technique instead of tearing, which gives us the correct result.

"Paper is a weird product that releases a lot of force, which can cause problems. For example, when you throw in a pack of paper, a paper shredder that can handle the most difficult materials may encounter difficulties. The reduction material is a Professional occupation."

Finally, Rudolf said: "So far, we have been running for about 600-700 hours and found that the wear of the cutting teeth is at a low level-we have not replaced the teeth. Compared with the previous paper shredders, due to lower fuel consumption, So it also saves costs, which is another advantage of our bottom line. Since investing in our TDS V20, we have not looked back."
